Fully automatic heating surface cleaning system
Modern firing systems allow a long-term operation without interruption.
Increasing demands on cost-efficiency increase the demands on heating surface cleaning systems.
To cut personnel costs, fully automatic and reliable solutions are necessary. The modulating controls inevitably cause variable gas flows and consequently variable flow velocities along the heating surfaces.
This is why the self cleaning effects of high flow velocities are no longer sufficient, certainly not for long-lasting part load operation.
Especially biomass fired plants require a high standard of cleaning systems. maxxtec has been the pioneer in this field from the very beginning.
maxxtec successfully designs and manufactures automatic heating surface cleaning systems for cylindrical 3-pass exhaust gas heaters since many years.
The obvious advantages of these systems are:
- Reduced energy consumption and improved cleaning efficiency
- Easy maintenance
- The cleaning medium is released where it is needed and ensures optimum results with low energy consumption
- Optimal cleaning effect no matter what design or size of the heating surface
- All relevant operating parameters are evaluated continuously
- The system can be easily integrated and installed in already existing plants
- Programmable and repeatable cleaning cycles
- The laser-based positioning ensures exact cleaning
- Minimized wear and tear of the heating surfaces
airmaxx4 - the fully automatic heating surface cleaning
airmaxx4 - the result of extensive experience and years of research of maxxtec’s engineers is a computerized, patent pending heating surface cleaning system with laser-based positioning.
This complete new technical concept ensures a considerably improved cleaning effect and reduces at the same time the energy consumption for compressed air generation.
All components are easily accessible which facilitates maintenance considerably.
The in-shop developed controls register continuously all relevant operating data and the cleaning parameters are adapted to the operating conditions. In this way, the system can react on changing operating conditions at any time.
The positioning and cleaning sequence is programmed on a local control panel directly on site. The actuators combined with the laser-based positioner allow a perfect positioning above the access ports.
Robust locks close the inlet openings reliably. Thus leakage of ambient air or an escape of sparks is prevented.
